I have been a real estate investor for many years and built my net worth to more than 10 million dollars from almost nothing mostly thanks to real estate. However, I did not buy my first rental property for many years after I decided I wanted to be a landlord.
Right now, it is especially hard to invest in real estate. Interest rates are high, housing prices are high, and there is a lot of competition. Many people are stuck wanting to invest in real estate but do not have the money or are not in the right position to invest yet.
I was in the same boat more than ten years ago not having the money to invest. I learned how to make and save money so I could invest. If I was starting out and needed to build wealth or make more money before investing in real estate, this is what I would do.
